My trip to Jampa 2022 April. Jampa is the short name for João Pessoa. A beautiful small capital that never lose its charm.
Jampa 2022 April – Goals
My goals for this trip were:
- try AirBnb for the first time – yes, I never used before;
- review my blog posts and generate an e-book;
- try to do all daily tasks as I was home, to get used to be nomad;
- live as a local;
- adapt myself to using notebook;
- visit again some nice places I’ve been before.
Loved Jampa
I was stunned to see a beautiful city like the one I live, but without the violence (or at least, less violence).
Despite the Covid pandemic effects in economy, it seems recovering.
All small business so well maintained, amazing people serving us.
Tambaú provides almost everything one could need: beach, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, drugstores, gym, public transport, etc.
Bahamas, a restaurant that I am a customer for 30 years, is one of my most loved places.
Last, but not least, the flat I reserved through AirBnb has a semi Olympic pool with 2 lanes.
Real Estate
This trip really changed my assurance to continue living in Fortaleza.
Should I move here?
There are a plenty of good neighborhoods in Jampa.
The main is Tambaú, but also there are Cabo Branco, Manaíra and Bessa.
And Intermares in Cabedelo. All of them have beaches.
Manaíra, Bessa and Intermares as seen from Tambaú.
Well, definitely considering Jampa as a home alternative.
Sunset with Ravel’s bolero
This is actually in the neighbor city of Cabedelo.
The name of the beach is Praia do Jacaré.
No sea, it is a river. They also have a boat trip.
One of these boats has violinist Belle Soares’ show.
Every day, there is a show performed by Jurandir do Sax playing Ravel’s bolero at sunset time.
Sunset is always wonderful, but this one is exceptional. I love this place.
Conclusion
From the goals I’ve proposed myself, the only one missing was to generate an e-book.
I managed to review all posts of my other blog, but decided to plan better about the e-book, as there are many steps to make a quality work.
Lived here as a local.
I should really come back more times before decide to move, but definitely yes, I am considering this.
I am traveling up by bus from Recife, now Jampa, next stop is Natal, until arrive finally in Fortaleza.
