Canoa Quebrada 2023 June – Goals
My goals for this trip were:
- meet close local friends;
- live Canoa Quebrada routine;
- go to the beaches;
Canoa Quebrada routine
Canoa Quebrada should be the place that I came more frequently, as it is located just a few hours by bus from Fortaleza.
I don’t come here for the tourism, but to live a different routine, have new ideas in a different environment, and meet all of my friends here.
This post will be short, as the trip was also short.
Transition time
This item I guess was the most important thing I learned during this trip.
I have a great friend of mine in Canoa, and he always asks how my career is going in my journey to become a digital nomad.
It was interesting as he told me his story because he had done something similar years ago.
He worked for a long time in the financial area abroad, and then, came to Brazil to mount a bed and breakfast.
He told me that it took some time (years) until he really realized about his new reality, and started a new life.
His story was really an insight to me.
Furthermore, he suggested if I could be a consultant to my last company.
It is an option, but the answer for this is a bit complicated, and I am writing an entire post about my Great Resignation Career Transition.
Canoa Quebrada 2023 June – Conclusion: from an employee to a digital nomad
Goals conclusion:
- meet close local friends – it was fine, but one of the closest friends was travelling in the Brazilian South;
- live Canoa Quebrada routine – OK;
- go to the beaches – OK.
